National Immunization Conference (NIC)

Core elements of this model involve leveraging data platforms and community perspectives to uphold community decision-making as essential to advancing health equity, and dissemination and implementation of effective vaccine interventions.

Discussants will highlight promising strategies in the context of community engagement and immunization equity. Robust high-quality data combined with meaningful engagement allows for a deeper understanding of the scope and complexities surrounding the goal of immunization equity while guiding effective strategies. Attendees will hear perspectives from public health leaders on how to approach optimizing immunization programs, utilizing CEnR to reach disproportionately impacted and marginalized communities, and reduce disproportionate exposures, susceptibility, and transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Join me in Atlanta, Georgia from August 12-14, 2024! I am presenting on Tuesday, August 13 at 11:30AM EST in the Marquis Ballroom.
