In an era where healthcare can be inaccessible for many, a beacon of hope shines brightly in the heart of Denver. On Sunday, April 14th, from 11 am to 3 pm, St. Joseph Catholic Parish, nestled at 600 Galapago St, Denver, CO 80204, will be hosting a remarkable event – Free Health Services Day.

This initiative, organized collaboratively by the Denver CMA, St. Joseph's Catholic Parish, and Julissa Soto Latino Equity Consulting, aims to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility by providing an array of essential services, completely free of charge.

Attendees can avail themselves of a comprehensive range of medical services, including blood pressure and weight checks, foot nerve and pulse checks, basic, school, and sports physicals, eye exams, and healthy skin checks. Moreover, for newcomers to the community, there will be educational resources available, ensuring that everyone has access to vital health information.

Recognizing the diverse needs of the community, the event also offers travel medicine and green card physicals, hepatitis management, and vaccines for both adults and children. For those grappling with chronic conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure, screening and treatment services will be provided, empowering individuals to take charge of their health.

Furthermore, the event extends its support beyond medical care. Medicaid enrollment assistance will be offered, facilitating access to ongoing healthcare services. Additionally, families in need will find relief through the provision of free diapers and baby supplies, ensuring the well-being of the youngest members of our community.

Understanding that dental health is an integral part of overall well-being, dental services will also be available, ensuring that attendees can address both their medical and dental needs in one convenient location. Moreover, bone density scans will be offered, catering to the holistic health needs of attendees.
