Colorado Springs Hispanic Business Council and CDPHE Launch "One School, One Vaccine at a Time" Initiative
Colorado Springs, CO – Jul 19, 2024. The Colorado Springs Hispanic Business Council, also known as The Hispanic Chamber, is thrilled to announce the launch of the "One School, One Vaccine at a Time" (Una Escuela, Una Vacuna a la Vez) initiative in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Julissa Soto Latino Health Equity Consulting. This pioneering program aims to enhance community wellness through targeted vaccination efforts in partnership with local school districts and healthcare providers.
Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Colorado Springs Hispanic Business Council, Julissa Soto, was recently featured on FOX21 News Loving Living Local, where she emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy and immunized community as we approach the 2024-25 school year.
